Eggup was selected for the Ideal Home Show's inventor of the year competition and was displayed as part of the home of the future stand at Earls Court in March.

Our recent group project on design strategies to takle electrical waste received a distinction.






21/12/09 - Remade Workshop


I ran a collaborative IDE and Remade in Brixton (part of Transition Town Brixton) workshop on Saturday to brainstorm potential systems of remaking to move Brixton to a zero waste community. We spent the morning rooting through a selection of Brixton's waste streams (shown below) and the afternoon working out ways of turning this into potentially valuable outputs for transition town.






25/11/09 - Design London Proposal


My project proposal has been accepted for the Design London 'Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design' project scheme. I'll be working with a team of MBA students to look at feasible business models and roots to market for my proposal.





15/11/09 - SuperFoam Coverage


My SuperFoam chair has recently been doing the rounds in the blog world at Dezeen, Core 77 and Make. It's had some print coverage too (images from plan magazine).






02/10/09 - Design London Place


I've been accepted for the Design London Fellowship program, a collaborative course between the Tanaka Business School and the Royal College of Art.




1/09/09 - Altitude Medical Project


I've been working with Damian Palin in a project for Altitude Medical this summer developing a new hospital sanitation system. I should be able to post the results in my portfolio soon.






23/05/09 - Back from Ghana


We've just got back from our GoGlobal trip to Ghana, where we've been working with local artisans to develop products for export. It's been a fantastic trip, I've put up my project work here.






26/03/09 - Future of the Car


We've just finished a future thinking project for ford (shown here), unfortunately I cant show the output but here is some of the work in progress shots of prototyping user experiences.
