Altitude Medical Handle
Hospital acquired infections kill millions each year and cost billions of pounds to treat. Yet they can be prevented through simple hospital hygiene.
Current hand wash dispensers are located throughout hospitals but are largely ineffective due to their confusing signage and poor positioning. What if the answer was as simple as putting the hand wash where it could't be missed.
Myself and Damian Palin worked with Altitude Medical to develop a door handle that dispensed sanitizer when you opened the door. With an intuitive dual lever design and a clear visual language we made the sanitising experience as simple as possible.
The development process is shown here.
